"LANGS HET IJSSELMEER"
On May 28 2007 it was be 75 years ago that the Afsluitdijk, the dike connecting the provinces of North-Holland and Friesland with a length of 33 kilometres, has been closed.
The "salt sea" became a "lake with fresh water". (The Zuiderzee became IJsselmeer).
At the occasion of this jubilee Bert Verhoeff exhibits his photographs taken along the IJSSELMEER.
Simultaneously a photo book under the same title will be released with photographs of Bert Verhoeff and text of Rolf Bos, see page
