Luc ten Klooster
"SHE"
The exhibition shows a great variety of images of "women of all sorts". The
photo book "SHE" will be released at the opening of the exhibition.
The choice of subjects and techniques in the photographs of Luc ten Klooster seem to be related to images from the past. However, he does not use classic techniques such as gum print but he chooses to print his black and white images as bromide prints. Whilst most photographers change from analogue to digital, Luc brings his digitally manipulated images back to the darkroom to print these as bromide prints. In this way the characteristics of his prints become unique.
This exhibition has been opened in the presence of Sonja Barend.
