"NUDES: TONGUE CHAIR and NON GLAMOUR".
In 2005 Martin Wieldraaijer started the production of the photographs exhibited. In his small studio he used the same backdrop and lightning. His non commissioned images can be seen as improvisations and personal meetings. The meetings have not been directed and are based on interactions on an even personal level. It is up to the model "to give". The photographer observes and "enlarges" the movements of the model. This results in a large variety of "characters" in female shapes. The exhibition shows three themes: "Tongue chair", the female body shaped towards the curves of a tongue chair, "Non glamour", portraits without the use of stylists and make-up artists and a series of his early works.
The exhibition has been opened by the Flemish model Hilde Mommen.
