EXHIBITIONS SCULPTURE GARDEN
ASTRID BLOKBERGEN "Intensity".
The artist Astrid Blokbergen lives to the fullest. The intensity of beautiful, moving, happy or sometimes sad moments she experiences with great force and with that create a source of inspiration. In her recent work she translated this process into purity, clarity and passion which without doubt will move you. And that is exactly her intention when she creates her sculptures. Using art to tell a story and by that make people enjoy and be moved. Sincerely and intensely. The exhibition "Intensity" shows it all.
After her studies in psychology Astrid Blokbergen (1965) felt more and more attracted by the world of artistry. As a full niece of the renowned Scandinavian sculptor Ambrosia Tønnesen maybe this was meant to happen. From 1997 onwards she decided to devote her life completely to creating sculptures. The autodidact Astrid improved her techniques with the help of Jarco Berman of the Gooise Academy (Laren, NL) and at the Kyle Smith Artspace at Pietrasanta (Italy).
During this exhibition the
