C. BARTON VAN FLYMEN
After a short but exciting career as pop musician, autodidact Barton started his career in photography in 1968. Photojournalism is his favourite discipline although his portfolio holds many images related to landscape, portrait, sport and daily life. Especially his documentaries about the Tour de France made a huge impression in the Dutch dailies.
From the newspaper Het Parool he received his first commissions and soon magazines like Nieuwe Revu and Avenue followed. The Fotofestival Naarden features his work regularly, including two solo exhibitions.
The image bank Hollandse Hoogte holds a large number of his images.
Barton considers himself very fortunate to be able to generate his income by outliving his passion for photography on a daily basis.
