MARCO VAN MIDDELKOOP
Born as the second son of Ger van Middelkoop, a pioneer in Dutch aerial photography, Marco grew up with aviation and photography. At the age of 12 he "worked" during his holidays at the photo laboratory and office of Aerophoto-Schiphol, Amsterdam.
In 1993 he became Aerophoto-Schiphol photographer.
Marco was nominated for the Dutch PANL Award in 2005.
In 2005 his successful
book "Holland, 365 days from the air" was published.
His
exhibition "Postcards from America" in Waterland Photo Gallery has resulted in an exhibition of his work in the Melkweg Gallery in Amsterdam all year in 2008.
