MARIJKE BRESSER
Documentaries and autonomous photographer Marijke Bresser started her career in 1978. Besides commissions in Holland and abroad she documents her own life in photography such as in the Waterland region where she has been living for 20 years. She produced a children book entitled
"Sven and Ducky" as well as the short film "Rietveld" shot in the same region. Recently her book
"The small Adventure" was published.
Her autonomous photography was used for conceptual commissions from the Nederlandsche (Dutch) Bank, Lucas Hospital, Council house Waterland and the prison of Leeuwarden.
She is member of the photographers association GKF and the image bank Hollandse Hoogte has many of her images in stock.
Recently Marijke combines her photography with the production and direction of short films. She received a commission from The Amsterdam Art Foundation to produce a short film.
