MARTIN WIELDRAAIJER
After he graduated at the MTS for Photography at The Hague and the AKI at Enschede Martin Wieldraaijer established himself as an independent photographer and filmmaker. Since 1990 he directs his camera more towards people. This can result in a simple portrait or a documentary about a long lasting process showing ever changing aspects. The main characteristic of his work shows deepening and a genuine interest in people.
In his black and white photography, digital as well as analogue, the feel or mood is more important than technical perfection. Just these small imperfections give the images more identity.
